The 2016 Stockholm Open (also known as the If Stockholm Open) was a professional men's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts at the Kungliga tennishallen in Stockholm, Sweden, from October 17 to 23, 2016. As the 48th edition of the event, it was part of the ATP World Tour 250 series. In a standout singles final, unseeded wildcard Juan Martín del Potro defeated Jack Sock 7–5, 6–1, capturing his 19th career title and his only title of the 2016 season. The doubles title was won by Swedish brothers Elias and Mikael Ymer, who dominated Mate Pavić and Michael Venus with a decisive 6–1, 6–1 victory. Notably, the tournament also saw pre-event withdrawals from Lucas Pouille and Daniel Evans, who were replaced by Dustin Brown and Yūichi Sugita, respectively.
