Brandon Aiyuk (born March 17, 1998) is a dynamic wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, selected 25th overall in the 2020 NFL draft after a trade with the Minnesota Vikings. Of Cameroonian descent and raised in Reno, Nevada, he starred at Sierra College (earning Junior College All-American honors) before transferring to Arizona State, where he was a first-team All-Pac-12 pick as both a receiver and return specialist in 2019, amassing 65 catches for 1,192 yards and eight touchdowns. After signing a four-year, $12.5 million rookie contract, a hamstring injury delayed his NFL debut until Week 2, but he quickly made history by becoming the 49ers' first wide receiver since 1970 to score a rushing touchdown as his first career score. He also became the first receiver since the AFL-NFL merger to record two rushing touchdowns in his first three games, showcasing his versatility.
