Hugh Jackman (born 12 October 1968 in Sydney) is an acclaimed Australian actor, singer, and producer, recognized with an Emmy, Grammy, and two Tony Awards, alongside an Oscar nomination and a 2019 Companion of the Order of Australia. He achieved global stardom as Wolverine in the X-Men franchise from 2000 to 2024, and his film career includes acclaimed roles in Les Misérables (2012), which earned him a Golden Globe and Oscar nomination, and The Greatest Showman (2017), which won him a Grammy for its soundtrack.
