Tadhg Kennelly (born 1 July 1981) is an Irish-Australian sportsperson uniquely celebrated for achieving the highest team honors in both Gaelic football and Australian rules football. After growing up in County Kerry, he moved to Australia to play for the Sydney Swans, making his AFL debut in 2001 and becoming the first Irish-born player to win an AFL Premiership medal in 2005. In 2009, he returned to his native Kerry, scoring two points in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final on 20 September to help Kerry win, making him the first person ever to hold both an AFL Premiership medallion and an All-Ireland SFC medal. Following this historic achievement, he returned to the Sydney Swans to resume his AFL career. He also represented Ireland in the International Rules Series and is considered the third-most-experienced player in the "Irish experiment" in the AFL, behind Jim Stynes.
