Jarrett Patterson (born September 1, 1999) is an American football guard for the San Francisco 49ers, who acquired him via trade from the Houston Texans on August 30, 2026. Raised in Laguna Hills, California, he played college football at Notre Dame, where he was remarkably durable and effective—appearing in 48 games and never allowing a single sack across 3,099 snaps. After being selected by the Texans in the sixth round (201st overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft, he immediately became their starting center as a rookie, but a fractured fibula in Week 8 cut his season short, landing him on injured reserve on October 31, 2023. His best college season came in 2021, when he played all 13 games, and he earned third-team All-ACC honors in 2020. Now with the 49ers, Patterson brings a proven record of elite pass protection and versatility to the offensive line.
