Named after racing driver Jenson Button, Brooksby made his Grand Slam debut at the 2018 US Open and first made waves in 2021 by reaching the fourth round of the US Open as a 20-year-old, defeating Taylor Fritz and Aslan Karatsev before falling to Novak Djokovic.
