Danny Welbeck

Daniel Nii Tackie Mensah Welbeck, born on 26 November 1990 in Manchester to Ghanaian parents, is an English professional footballer currently playing as a forward for Chelsea in the Premier League. He rose through the youth ranks at Manchester United, making his senior debut in 2008 with a stunning 30-yard goal against Stoke City, and helped the club win the 2008–09 League Cup and the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup before loan spells at Preston North End and Sunderland. After becoming a regular at United, he moved to Arsenal for £16 million in September 2014, later joining Watford in 2019 and Brighton & Hove Albion in 2020, where he has become the club's all-time top scorer in the Premier League. On the international stage, Welbeck debuted for England against Ghana in March 2011, scored his first goal against Belgium in 2012, and represented his country at UEFA Euro 2012, the 2014 World Cup, and the 2018 World Cup, earning 42 caps in total. Despite battling health issues like Osgood–Schlatter disease as a youth, he has built a remarkable career known for his versatility, athleticism, and crucial goals.
