The 2025 Los Angeles Chargers season, their 56th in the NFL and second under head coach Jim Harbaugh and GM Joe Hortiz, began with a bang as they started 3–0 for the first time since 2002, including wins over all three division rivals. However, they stumbled mid-season, losing three of their next four games, but still finished with an 11–6 record—matching the previous year—and clinched a playoff berth for the second straight season (their first consecutive berths since 2008–2009) after a Week 16 Colts loss. After the season, the Chargers fired offensive coordinator Greg Roman and lost defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, who left to become head coach of the Baltimore Ravens. Individually, Justin Herbert threw for a career-high 420 yards in a Week 7 win over the Colts, while Keenan Allen recorded his 1,000th career reception, becoming the fastest player in NFL history to reach the milestone in just 159 games.
