Pete Crow-Armstrong (born March 25, 2002), known as "PCA", is a center fielder for the Chicago Cubs who made his MLB debut in 2023. Drafted 19th overall by the New York Mets in 2020, he was traded to the Cubs in 2021 for Javier Báez and Trevor Williams. A standout at Harvard-Westlake School, he was the LA Times Player of the Year in 2019 and was batting .514 in 2020 before the pandemic ended his senior season. After recovering from shoulder surgery, he won a minor league championship in 2022 and earned a MiLB Gold Glove, becoming the Cubs' top prospect. He debuted on September 11, 2023, but struggled initially, going 0-for-14 in his first 13 games. He has since become a star, earning All-Star selections in both 2025 and 2026.
