In 2018, she was named one of Time's 100 most influential people and became the youngest-ever UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Beyond the show, she has starred in Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), while also producing and leading Netflix films like Enola Holmes (2020), Damsel (2024), and The Electric State (2025). Born with partial hearing loss in her left ear (which she later lost entirely), she moved from Spain to England and then Florida, and she naturally switches between American and British accents depending on her surroundings. Her career began with guest roles in shows like Once Upon a Time in Wonderland and Intruders before her breakthrough, and she has also modeled for Calvin Klein and appeared in music videos.
