Billy Edwards Jr. (born January 11, 2003) is a college football quarterback who has navigated a winding path through four programs, currently landing with the North Carolina Tar Heels. After a redshirt year at Wake Forest, he transferred to Maryland, where he made a name for himself in 2022 by replacing an injured Taulia Tagovailoa and leading a game-winning drive against Indiana, and later earned MVP honors in the 2023 Music City Bowl with a 31-13 victory over Auburn. He started for Maryland in 2024 before transferring to Wisconsin in December 2024, but his 2025 season was derailed by a Grade 3 PCL sprain in his left knee, limiting him to just one series against his former team.
