Pokémon Jet refers to a series of aircraft painted with promotional Pokémon liveries, first introduced by All Nippon Airways (ANA) on 1 July 1998, following the Pokémon craze. ANA expanded the fleet with a "US version" for New York flights in 1999, a contest-winning design later that year, and a "Peace Jet" in 2011 featuring characters from Pokémon Black and White before retiring the theme in 2016. The scheme was revived in 2020 by Solaseed Air with an Exeggutor livery (the first to feature a single species), followed by Skymark Airlines and Air Do in 2021. In 2022, Scoot became the first non-Japanese airline to operate one, joined by China Airlines and T'way Air, while ANA resumed producing Pokémon Jets in 2023 after a seven-year gap. These aircraft often feature fully themed interiors, such as Skymark's Pikachu jet, which includes Pokémon-themed seats, cabin crew, and even plays the Pokémon Center theme music to boost tourism in Okinawa.
