Clayton Bellinger (born November 18, 1968) is a former MLB player who spent his major league career with the New York Yankees and Anaheim Angels, winning two World Series titles with the Yankees. He is famously remembered for a spectacular catch in Game 2 of the 2000 World Series, robbing Todd Zeile of a home run to preserve a victory. After a long minor league stint, he played briefly for the Angels in 2002 but did not receive a ring for that title. In 2004, he played for the Greek Olympic baseball team, leveraging his Greek ancestry, and later became a firefighter in Gilbert, Arizona, and a Little League coach. He is also the father of Cody Bellinger, the 2019 NL MVP and 2020 World Series champion.
