Harry Kane (born 28 July 1993, Leytonstone, London) is an English striker for Bayern Munich and captain of the England national team, widely regarded as one of the best strikers of his generation with over 500 career goals. After debuting for Tottenham Hotspur in 2009, he became the club’s all-time top scorer (280 goals) and won two Premier League Golden Boots before joining Bayern in 2023 for a Bundesliga-record €110 million transfer. At Bayern, he won the European Golden Shoe in his debut season, his first major trophy (the Bundesliga title) in the 2025–26 season, and a domestic double with a hat trick in the DFB-Pokal final. For England, he made a goalscoring debut in 2015, led the team to the Euro 2020 and Euro 2024 finals, and claimed the 2018 World Cup Golden Boot, while becoming England’s all-time top scorer (85 goals) and the country’s leading World Cup scorer (14 goals). Having grown up as a Spurs fan idolising Teddy Sheringham, he attended the same school as David Beckham and has Irish ancestry through his father.
