Ross Chastain (born December 4, 1992) is a professional stock car driver currently competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for Trackhouse Racing, while also running part-time schedules in the Xfinity and Truck Series, and he is the older brother of fellow driver Chad Chastain. He began racing at age twelve at Punta Gorda Speedway in Florida, amassing over fifty short-track feature wins before moving to Charlotte in 2011. That year, he made his Truck Series debut with Turn One Racing, finishing tenth at Lucas Oil Raceway, and in 2012 he earned Rookie of the Year honors with SS-Green Light Racing, highlighted by a third-place finish at Bristol. In 2013, driving for Brad Keselowski Racing, he won his first career pole at Iowa Speedway and finished second in both the Iowa and Phoenix races, narrowly missing victories. After leaving BKR, he faced a setback in 2014 when RBR Enterprises fired him, but he rebounded by making his Nationwide Series debut at Charlotte and scoring a strong twelfth-place finish for Hattori Racing Enterprises at Michigan.
