CBS renewed the police procedural drama NCIS for a 24th season on January 22, 2026, with the premiere scheduled for October 6, 2026. The upcoming season will see the highly anticipated return of Michael Weatherly as Tony DiNozzo in a recurring capacity, and it will also mark the 500th episode for longtime star Sean Murray (Timothy McGee). Notably, Rocky Carroll will not be returning as Director Leon Vance, a character he has played since season 5.
