Kahleah Copper (born August 28, 1994) is an American basketball star currently playing for the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA and Rose BC in the new 3-on-3 league, Unrivaled. A native of North Philadelphia who starred at Rutgers, she was drafted 7th overall in 2016 by the Washington Mystics before being traded to the Chicago Sky in 2017. After starting her career as a bench player, Copper broke out in 2020, and in 2021 she earned her first All-Star selection while leading the Sky to their first-ever WNBA championship, capturing Finals MVP honors. Her international resume includes a gold medal at the 2022 FIBA World Cup and another at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she helped the US defeat France. Copper also won MVP awards in the Spanish League and Euroleague, and after being traded to Phoenix in February 2024, she helped Rose BC win the inaugural Unrivaled championship.
