Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy is a Fox News program hosted by former South Carolina Republican Congressman Trey Gowdy, which has aired live from his home every Sunday evening since June 6, 2021. The show features a short monologue on the week's news followed by interviews with multiple guests, including frequent appearances from political figures like Tim Scott and Kevin McCarthy, as well as Fox News personalities such as Dana Perino and Martha MacCallum. Gowdy, who joined Fox News as a contributor in 2019, previously chaired the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations and was involved in the Benghazi and Russia investigations, also serving as an interim host for Fox News Tonight after Tucker Carlson's firing in 2023. As of August 2023, the program ranked as the 14th most popular show on Fox News, averaging around 1.179 million viewers and outperforming its CNN and MSNBC competition. In June 2023, the show was moved to the 9 p.m. ET slot as part of a new weekend lineup, replacing The Next Revolution after the cancellation of Dan Bongino's show.
