Michael Weatherly

Michael Weatherly Jr. (born July 8, 1968) is an American actor best known for his long-running portrayal of Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo on NCIS (2003–2016), as well as starring roles as Dr. Jason Bull in Bull (2016–2022) and Logan Cale in Dark Angel (2000–2002). Born in New York City and raised in Connecticut, he began his career on soap operas like Loving and The City before breaking into primetime with roles in films such as The Last Days of Disco (1998) and the series Charmed. His breakthrough on Dark Angel earned him multiple award nominations, but it was his 13-season run on NCIS that made him a household name—making him one of only two actors to appear across all four shows in the franchise (JAG, NCIS, NCIS: LA, and NCIS: New Orleans). After leaving NCIS in 2016, he headlined Bull, a CBS drama loosely based on the trial consultancy of Dr. Phil McGraw, and also directed several episodes of the show. In 2024, Weatherly reprised his iconic DiNozzo role and is set to star alongside Cote de Pablo in the 2025 Paramount+ spin-off NCIS: Tony & Ziva, rekindling their beloved on-screen romance. Aside from acting, he is also a musician and director, having left college at Boston University and American University to pursue his career in entertainment.
