Jodie Sweetin (born January 19, 1982) is an American actress best known for playing Stephanie Tanner on the beloved ABC sitcom Full House (1987–1995) and its Netflix sequel Fuller House (2016–2020). Adopted by her uncle and aunt as an infant after her parents were imprisoned, she began acting in national commercials at age five and balanced her TV career with college at Chapman University. Beyond the Tanner family, she showcased her versatility by competing on Dancing with the Stars in 2016 (finishing 6th), starring in the unscripted series Hollywood Darlings, and appearing on reality shows like Beyond the Edge. In the 2020s, she launched a successful stand-up comedy career, crediting her late Full House co-star Bob Saget as a major influence on her dark, playful comedic style.
