Anthony Gordon is an English footballer who plays as a left winger for La Liga club Barcelona and the England national team. Born in Liverpool in 2001, he rose through the ranks at Everton, making his senior debut in a Europa League match in December 2017. After a brief loan spell, he broke out in the 2021-22 season, scoring against Manchester United and being named Everton's Young Player of the Year. In January 2023, he moved to Newcastle United for a £40 million fee (rising to £45 million) after a transfer request, and later joined Barcelona in 2026. Known for his direct wing play, he has become an England regular while continuing his development in Spanish football.
