Kyle Schwarber (born March 5, 1993) is a powerful American baseball slugger currently playing for the Philadelphia Phillies, having previously starred for the Chicago Cubs, Washington Nationals, and Boston Red Sox. Drafted fourth overall by the Cubs in 2014 out of Indiana University, he made his MLB debut in 2015 and helped the team capture the 2016 World Series championship. After earning his first All-Star nod in 2021, he joined the Phillies in 2022, leading the National League in home runs and winning a Silver Slugger Award. Schwarber holds remarkable postseason records, including the most NLCS home runs (11) and most postseason leadoff homers (5), and is the only player ever to homer in the Little League World Series, the World Series, and the World Baseball Classic championship game. In 2025, he was named All-Star Game MVP and made history on August 28 by becoming the 21st player to hit four home runs in a single game. Known for his low batting average but elite power and walk rate, he was selected to his fourth All-Star Game in 2026.
