Nene Royal (born Rattikarn Amloy in 2010) is a teenage rock guitarist from Phuket, Thailand, who became an international sensation in July 2026 after her audition for America's Got Talent (AGT) went viral. Her powerful rendition of The Cranberries' "Zombie" earned unanimous "yeses" from judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Mel B, and was declared the most-viewed audition of the season, racking up 100 million views across social media within two days. A self-taught guitarist since age six, Nene had already won multiple Thai music awards before AGT, and she followed up her viral audition with a hit performance of Muse's "Hysteria" in the Judges' Callbacks round. In August 2026, she was named "Best New International Artiste" at the Phil Lynott Convention in Dublin, and her success prompted the Thai government to invite her to a Cabinet meeting and pledge financial support for her AGT journey. Currently a grade 11 student, she performs with two local bands, is recording her debut EP with Enya Music, and has been celebrated as a national inspiration for Thailand.
