Ja'Marr Chase (born March 1, 2000) is a dominant wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, known for his explosive playmaking ability. He starred at LSU, winning the Fred Biletnikoff Award and a national championship in 2019 before being drafted fifth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft to reunite with quarterback Joe Burrow. In his rookie season, he set the NFL record for single-game receiving yards by a rookie, earned Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, and helped lead the Bengals to Super Bowl LVI. By 2024, he achieved the rare receiving triple crown, leading the league in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns. A Louisiana native who attended Archbishop Rummel High School, he opted out of the 2020 college season to prepare for the pros, a decision that paid off as he quickly became one of the NFL's most feared receivers.
