Liam Delap (born 8 February 2003) is an English striker who currently plays for Chelsea. The son of former footballer Rory Delap, he progressed through the academies of Derby County and Manchester City, making his senior debut for City in 2020 and scoring in the EFL Cup. After loan spells at Stoke City, Preston North End, and Hull City, he joined Ipswich Town in July 2024 for up to £20 million, where he scored 12 goals as their top scorer, though the club was relegated. In 2025, he moved to Chelsea for a reported £30 million. Delap has also represented England at every youth level from under-16 to under-21.
