Christian Pulisic (born September 18, 1998, in Hershey, Pennsylvania) is an American soccer star who plays for AC Milan and the U.S. national team, earning the nickname "Captain America" for his dribbling and playmaking. He began his pro career at Borussia Dortmund in 2016 at age 17, becoming the youngest to score multiple Bundesliga goals and finishing runner-up for the 2018 Kopa Trophy, before moving to Chelsea in January 2019 for a record $73 million—the most expensive North American transfer ever. At Chelsea, he won the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League (the first American to play in a final), plus the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup, then joined AC Milan in 2023 and lifted the 2024–25 Supercoppa Italiana.
