WWE Raw (or Monday Night Raw) is a flagship professional wrestling television program produced by WWE, debuting live on January 11, 1993, and airing every Monday at 8 p.m. ET. Originally broadcast on the USA Network, it moved to TNN/Spike TV in 2000 before returning to USA in 2005, and finally transitioning to Netflix on January 6, 2025, under a 10-year deal. The show pioneered the live weekly wrestling format, originating from a small New York theater, and has since been broadcast from over 210 arenas across 12 nations, including the US, UK, and Saudi Arabia. During the late 1990s, it engaged in the famous "Monday Night War" with WCW's Monday Nitro, expanding to a two-hour format in 1997 as Raw Is War and reclaiming ratings dominance after WrestleMania XIV in 1998. Today, it remains one of WWE's two flagship shows alongside SmackDown, continuing its legacy as a global live television phenomenon.
