Andrew Benintendi is a professional baseball outfielder currently playing for the Chicago White Sox, having previously starred for the Boston Red Sox, Kansas City Royals, and New York Yankees. A standout at the University of Arkansas, he swept college baseball's top honors—the Golden Spikes Award and Dick Howser Trophy—in 2015 before being drafted 7th overall by the Red Sox and making his MLB debut in 2016. He was a key contributor to Boston's 2018 World Series championship run and later earned a Gold Glove Award in 2021 and an All-Star selection in 2022. After being traded to the Royals following the 2020 season, he was dealt to the Yankees in July 2022, then signed with the White Sox as a free agent that winter.
