Sharna Burgess

Sharna May Burgess (born 21 June 1985) is an Australian ballroom dancer best known as a professional partner on the American series Dancing with the Stars. Beginning her dance training at age five, she represented Australia at the World Championships by 15 and performed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics Closing Ceremonies before moving to London to tour with shows like Burn the Floor. After joining the US show as a troupe member in season 13, she became a pro in season 16 and achieved multiple runner-up finishes with partners such as Nick Carter, James Hinchcliffe, and Josh Norman. In a surprising upset, she won season 27 with radio personality Bobby Bones, despite consistently low judge scores, thanks to viewer votes. Since 2019, she has served as a judge on the Australian version of the show, alongside Craig Revel Horwood and Tristan MacManus.
