Alexander David Bregman (born 1994) is an accomplished American professional baseball third baseman currently playing for the Chicago Cubs, known for a distinguished career filled with collegiate and MLB achievements. A remarkable talent from a young age, Bregman was the first high school player to win the USA Baseball Player of the Year Award in 2010 and earned significant accolades at Louisiana State University before being selected second overall by the Houston Astros in the 2015 MLB draft.
