The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team competing in the NFC West division of the NFL, playing their home games at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California—a venue they share with the Los Angeles Chargers. Founded in 1936 as the Cleveland Rams by attorney Homer Marshman, the franchise won its first NFL Championship in 1945 before relocating to Los Angeles in 1946, becoming the only NFL champion to move cities the following season. After moving to St. Louis in 1995, the team achieved its second Super Bowl victory in 1999 with the "Greatest Show on Turf" offense, defeating the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV, though they lost Super Bowl XXXVI to the Patriots. Returning to Los Angeles for the 2016 season, the Rams suffered a Super Bowl LIII loss to New England but triumphed in Super Bowl LVI by beating the Cincinnati Bengals 23–20 in 2022, becoming just the second NFL team to win a Super Bowl in its own stadium. Notably, the franchise is the only one in NFL history to win championships representing three different cities: Cleveland (1945), St. Louis (1999), and Los Angeles (1951 and 2021).
