Dominique Malonga (born 8 January 1989) is a French striker of Congolese heritage who currently plays for Icelandic club Þór Akureyri. Growing up in the suburbs of Paris, he was a Monaco fan and joined their youth academy before moving to Italy in 2007 to play for Torino. After a transfer to Cesena costing €2.15 million, his career became a series of loans, including a standout spell at Vicenza where he scored 10 goals. From 2014 to 2016, he played for Scottish side Hibernian, scoring a hat-trick against Dumbarton and helping the club end a 114-year wait for the Scottish Cup in 2016. His journey then took him through clubs in Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Greece, Canada, and Bulgaria.
