Maddie Pokorny

Madalyn Pokorny (born November 24, 1996) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a winger or fullback, currently on loan from Racing Louisville FC to Tampa Bay Sun FC for the first half of the 2026 season. A standout from Webster Groves High School in St. Louis, she set the school's scoring record and later starred for the Saint Louis Billikens, earning three Atlantic 10 All-Conference selections and winning the 2018 tournament MVP after scoring four goals in the championship run. After signing with the Chicago Red Stars in 2019 without an appearance, she moved to Danish club HB Køge in 2020, where she scored 26 goals in 79 matches, helped win three consecutive Danish Women's League titles, and netted the club's first-ever Champions League group stage goal against Arsenal. She joined Racing Louisville in June 2023 as a National Team Replacement Player, recorded her first NWSL assist against Angel City in August, and signed a two-year contract that November. On January 23, 2026, Louisville re-signed her to a one-year deal and immediately loaned her to the USL Super League's Tampa Bay Sun FC.
