Andrea Kimi Antonelli (born 25 August 2006 in Bologna) is an Italian racing driver for Mercedes in Formula One, replacing Lewis Hamilton in 2025 and partnering George Russell, while debuting at the Australian Grand Prix as the third-youngest driver in F1 history. The son of sportscar racer Marco Antonelli, he dominated karting with back-to-back European titles in 2020–2021, then secured Italian and ADAC F4 titles in 2022, captured the Formula Regional championships, and finished sixth in F2 in 2024 with two wins. Despite sharing his middle name with Kimi Räikkönen, he was not named after him—and in his rookie 2025 season he became the youngest driver to set a fastest lap, lead a lap, and score a grand chelem. In 2026, Mercedes surged to the front, and Antonelli won six Grands Prix, becoming the youngest polesitter in China and the youngest championship leader in Japan. As of the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix, he has amassed six wins, six pole positions, nine fastest laps, and twelve podiums, remaining contracted with Mercedes through at least the end of 2026.
