She broke chart history in 2018 when her cover of "Duurt te lang" hit number one, making her the first woman in 11 years to top the Dutch Top 40 with a Dutch-language song. Her 2019 collaboration with Marco Borsato and Armin van Buuren, "Hoe het danst", also reached number one and became the first Dutch-language track to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify. During the 2020 pandemic, she performed an adapted classic "17 Miljard" with Snelle, which became the shortest number-one hit in Dutch history at just 1 minute and 47 seconds. In 2021, she performed as an interval act at the Eurovision Song Contest and sang the Dutch national anthem at the Dutch Grand Prix, celebrating Max Verstappen's victory.
