Will Lankshear (born 20 April 2005) is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Championship club Middlesbrough. After excelling at Sheffield United's youth academy, he moved to Tottenham Hotspur in August 2022 for an initial £2 million fee. With Spurs, he scored 23 goals to win the Premier League 2 Player of the Season in 2023-24, made his senior debut in the Europa League in October 2024, and won the UEFA Europa League in 2024-25. Following loan spells at West Bromwich Albion and Oxford United—where he was named Young Player of the Season—he signed for Middlesbrough in July 2026 for a fee that could reach a club-record £20 million, scoring on his debut against Wrexham. Internationally, he has represented England from U19 to U21 levels and is described as a "poacher" who is "outstanding in front of goal". A lifelong Tottenham supporter, he is also the younger brother of defender Alex Lankshear.
