Ismaïla Sarr (born 25 February 1998 in Saint-Louis, Senegal) is a dynamic winger currently playing for Crystal Palace and the Senegal national team. After starting at Génération Foot, he debuted for Metz in 2016, then chose Rennes over Barcelona, where he won the 2019 Coupe de France by scoring the winning penalty and netted a famous goal against Arsenal in the Europa League. He later starred at Watford (Player of the Season in 2021) and returned to England with Palace, winning the FA Cup in 2025 and the UEFA Conference League in 2026, where he was top scorer and best player. Internationally, Sarr has played at three World Cups (2018, 2022, 2026) and four Africa Cup of Nations, lifting the 2021 AFCON title. Known for his explosive pace, he also earned a spot on UEFA's Goal of the Season shortlist for his early European strikes.
