Thomas Hyunsu Edman (born May 9, 1995) is a versatile American professional baseball utility player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers, after spending his early MLB career with the St. Louis Cardinals. Raised in San Diego and a Stanford University alum, Edman was drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 MLB Draft and made his major league debut in 2019, quickly earning a starting role across multiple infield and outfield positions. Known for his elite defensive versatility, he won a Gold Glove Award in 2021 as the National League's top defensive second baseman.
