Toluca FC

Toluca Fútbol Club, founded in 1917 in Toluca, Mexico, is one of the nation's most successful football clubs, competing in Liga MX and playing its home matches at the Nemesio Diez Stadium. With 12 Liga MX titles (the second-highest in history) and 3 CONCACAF Champions Cup trophies, the club boasts 22 official titles and has never been relegated since reaching the top flight in 1953. The team dominated in the 1960s, the late 1990s/early 2000s, and the mid-2020s, with Paraguayan striker José Saturnino Cardozo (1995–2005) holding the all-time scoring record of 258 goals. Known as the Diablos Rojos (Red Devils) for their scarlet kits, they are also humorously nicknamed Los Choriceros (sausage makers) after a local food tradition. The club also fields women's and youth teams, and is set to make its debut in the 2026 FIFA Intercontinental Cup and the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup.
