Cade Klubnik, born October 10, 2003, is a professional American football quarterback for the New York Jets, having been selected in the fourth round (110th overall) of the 2026 NFL Draft after a standout career at Clemson University. In high school at Westlake in Austin, Texas, he set career records for passing yards (7,426) and touchdowns (86) while winning three state championships, surpassing NFL greats like Drew Brees, and was honored as the Elite 11 MVP and MaxPreps Player of the Year. After joining Clemson in 2022, he began as a backup to DJ Uiagalelei but seized the starting role by winning the ACC Championship MVP, throwing for 279 yards and a touchdown in the title game, though his first start in the 2022 Orange Bowl ended in a 31-14 loss to Tennessee despite throwing for 320 yards. Klubnik made his NFL debut on August 14, 2026, completing 5 of 7 passes for 56 yards in the Jets' preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A committed Christian, he is currently engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Macey Matthews.
