Jonathan Dwight Jones, widely considered one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time, competed professionally in the UFC from 2008 to 2025. Known as "Bones," he made history as the youngest UFC champion at age 23, securing the light heavyweight title against Maurício Rua, and went on to set numerous division records for title defenses and wins. Jones later became a two-division champion, claiming the heavyweight title in 2023, making him one of the few UFC fighters to hold championships in two weight classes, and he was never officially stopped or outscored in his career.

Despite his unparalleled success, Jones faced significant challenges between 2015 and 2017, being stripped of his light heavyweight title three times due to disciplinary issues, including a felony hit-and-run charge and positive tests for banned substances. He consistently made triumphant returns, reclaiming championships and defending his heavyweight title until his ultimate retirement in 2025.
