Tommy Castellanos

Thomas Castellanos is an American college football quarterback who played for the UCF Knights, Boston College Eagles, and Florida State Seminoles. Raised in Waycross, Georgia, as the seventh of 11 children after his father's death when he was 3, he starred at Ware County High School, amassing over 7,700 passing yards and 3,600 rushing yards before committing to UCF. After a quiet freshman year in 2022, he transferred to Boston College, where he took over as starter in 2023, finishing as the FBS's second-most prolific rushing quarterback behind Jayden Daniels and leading the Eagles to their first bowl win since 2016. In 2024, he orchestrated an upset over No. 10 Florida State and earned the team its first AP ranking since 2018, though his season was hampered by an injury and a controversial benching in a game against Syracuse. He later transferred to Florida State, capping a journey from rural Georgia to a major college football program.
