Lily Rose Beatrice Allen (born 1985) is a highly acclaimed English singer, songwriter, and actress, recognized with a Brit Award and nominations for both a Grammy and a Laurence Olivier Award. Her musical career launched in 2006 when her debut single "Smile" topped the UK charts, followed by her critically praised album Alright, Still, which earned a Grammy nomination. Her second album, It's Not Me, It's You (2009), also debuted at number one and secured her a Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist, contributing to what the media dubbed the "year of the women" in music.

Beyond her chart-topping music, Allen has ventured into acting, earning an Olivier Award nomination for her 2021 West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story, and has also hosted a TV show and released her autobiography, My Thoughts Exactly. Born to actor Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen, her unconventional childhood involved attending 13 schools before her singing talent was discovered at age eleven by a music teacher.
