Christopher Lee Yost (born February 21, 1973) is an American writer celebrated for his work across film, television, animation, and comics, most notably co-writing Marvel's Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Thor: Ragnarok (2017), as well as contributing to Lucasfilm's hit series The Mandalorian. After studying film at the University of Michigan and USC, he interned at Marvel Comics in 2002, which launched his career writing for X-Men: Evolution and later serving as head writer on animated shows like The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Star Wars Rebels. His feature film credits also include Max Steel and the upcoming Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (2026), while his TV work spans the live-action Cowboy Bebop adaptation and the 2024 showrunning role on Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In August 2024, it was announced he would write the TV adaptation of Dungeon Crawler Carl for Universal International Studios and Seth MacFarlane's Fuzzy Door. His extensive comic book bibliography includes acclaimed runs on X-23, X-Force, and Scarlet Spider, cementing his reputation as a versatile storyteller in genre entertainment.
