Kameron Saunders

Kameron N. Saunders (born July 23, 1992) is an American dancer from St. Louis who gained international fame as a principal dancer in Spirited (2022) and The Color Purple (2023), before becoming one of 15 backup dancers on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour (2023–2024). On that tour, he made history as the only dancer with spoken lines, famously exclaiming "like ever!" in "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and cleverly adapting his phrases and counting into local languages and dialects during international shows, which delighted fans. Before his performance career, he earned a BFA from the University of Missouri–Kansas City in 2014 and won the Princess Grace Award in Choreography in 2022 after a fellowship at Jacob's Pillow. His achievements were formally celebrated when Kansas City declared January 25, 2024 as "Kameron Saunders Day of Dance," honoring his advocacy for broader representation in the arts. A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Saunders has been open about overcoming weight-related criticism from instructors in his childhood, and he is the brother of NFL player Khalen Saunders. Most recently, he performed as a dancer for Chappell Roan's "Pink Pony Club" at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2025.
