Ariel Washington Hukporti, born in Stralsund, Germany, in 2002, is a German-Togolese professional basketball player currently with the New York Knicks of the NBA. Standing at 1.80m by age nine, he began playing basketball at 11 and quickly rose through German youth leagues, notably being named NBBL MVP for the 2019–20 season with Porsche BBA Ludwigsburg. His professional career saw him play for Riesen Ludwigsburg, Nevėžis Kėdainiai in Lithuania, and Melbourne United in Australia as a "Next Star," enduring an Achilles injury in 2022.

In the 2024 NBA draft, Hukporti was the 58th and final pick by the Dallas Mavericks before his rights were immediately traded to the New York Knicks. He made his NBA debut in October 2024, signed a standard contract, and recently had his first start for the Knicks in February 2025, though he unfortunately suffered a torn meniscus during the game.
