Dillon Danis

Dillon Danis (born August 22, 1993) is an American mixed martial artist who rose to fame as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and training partner for Conor McGregor. He debuted in MMA with Bellator in 2018, winning his first two bouts via first-round submissions (a toe hold and an armbar) before becoming infamous for his role in the post-fight melee at UFC 229 in 2018, which earned him a $7,500 fine and a 7-month suspension. His career took a detour into boxing, where he withdrew from a scheduled bout against KSI and later lost his professional boxing debut to Logan Paul via disqualification. After being released from Bellator in October 2023 and briefly announcing his retirement, Danis signed with the Global Fight League in January 2025 (though its events were postponed) before pivoting to Misfits MMA. He currently competes there, making his debut against influencer Warren Spencer in August 2025 and now holds the promotion's Light Heavyweight (175 lbs) Championship.
