Michael Evans Jr. (born August 21, 1993) is a professional American football wide receiver currently with the San Francisco 49ers, but he is best known for his legendary career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who selected him 7th overall in the 2014 NFL draft. After coming from a multi-sport background at Ball High School, where he only played football as a senior, he attended Texas A&M and earned consensus All-American honors in 2013, breaking the school's single-game receiving record with 279 yards against Alabama and then topping it with 287 yards against Auburn. With Tampa Bay, Evans has racked up six Pro Bowl selections, two second-team All-Pro nods (2016, 2023), and a Super Bowl LV victory, while setting nearly every major franchise receiving record for the team. His most remarkable achievement is his 11 consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons to start his career, tying the legendary Jerry Rice for the most in NFL history.
