Genesis GV90

The Genesis GV90 is an upcoming battery-electric full-size luxury crossover SUV from Hyundai Motor Group's premium brand, Genesis, slated to debut in 2026 as the company's flagship model above the GV80. Its most distinctive design element is the use of rear-hinged coach doors that eliminate the central B-pillar, which, combined with reinforced door construction, enhances passenger access and structural safety. Inside, the SUV is expected to feature innovative amenities such as swivel seats and integrated seat speakers to boost passenger interaction and comfort. The vehicle will ride on Hyundai's new Integrated Modular Architecture (IMA) platform, specifically designed for electric vehicles to improve efficiency and configuration flexibility. Production is scheduled to begin in 2026 at Hyundai's sixth manufacturing facility in Ulsan, South Korea. Positioned to rival established luxury models like the Mercedes-Benz GLS and BMW X7, the GV90 aims to solidify Genesis's footprint in the high-end electric SUV segment.
