Jhoan Durán (born January 8, 1998) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Philadelphia Phillies after spending his early career with the Minnesota Twins, with whom he made his MLB debut in 2022 and earned his first All-Star selection in 2026. Originally signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2014, he was traded to Minnesota in July 2018 in exchange for Eduardo Escobar, and he missed the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic cancellation. Durán quickly became a dominant reliever, posting a stellar 1.86 ERA as a rookie in 2022 and recording 27 saves in 2023, before battling injuries in 2024. In May 2025, he earned his first American League Reliever of the Month award with a 0.60 ERA, and on July 30, 2025, he was traded to the Phillies, finishing the season with a 2.06 ERA and 32 total saves. On May 25, 2026, Durán notched his 100th career save against the San Diego Padres, solidifying his reputation as one of the game's top late-inning arms.
